WELLINGTON EAST GIRLS COLLEGE

Wellington East Girls College Librarian, Sharon Jones, contacted int.workspaces at the end of 2017 after being impressed with the products and projects on our website.  Sharon had previously set up libraries in the UK so was no stranger to the process and had an idea of what she wanted the new library to become.  int.workspaces worked with Sharon do develop her vision into a library and learning space that is alive with the buzz of students communicating and collaborating with each other as they read, have fun and most of all have learn in the library – it’s a great place.

NAPIER BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY SHELVING

The int.workspaces team is working with Napier Boys’ High School to progressively introduce new shelving into their library, as funding becomes available.

Librarian Ngaio Blackwood just loves the result, and says that her students are definitely enjoying browsing more among the free-standing shelving, rather than the old wall-mounted shelves.

UPPER HUTT CITY LIBRARY MAKEOVER

Int.workspaces was privileged to be invited to work with the Library Management Team on redesigning the layout of the Upper Hutt City Library. Purpose of the project was to improve safety and visibility of the children’s and teen’s areas, create a more flexible community space for programmes and events, increase availability for PC users an enhance quiet areas.

Int.workspaces was able to provide a solution that incorporated both existing and new shelving and furniture, and with a massive team effort the Library was able to be reopened within one week, minimising disruption to the public.

Scope of work included: Concept Design, Interior Design, Shelving and Furniture Fit out, Bespoke Joinery, and furniture Solutions, Acoustic Wall Linings & Relocation of existing Shelving.

NEW PAEROA LIBRARY

Int.workspaces was awarded the contract to fit out the beautiful new Paeroa Library with Tables and Seating. Int.workspaces worked closely with the Project team from Hauraki District Council to put together a furniture schedule that considered the functionality, durability, style and of course the budget.

Int.workspaces was able to provide a solution that ticked all the boxes.

Scope of work included: Furniture Fit out, Bespoke Joinery and Furniture Solutions.

NEW TE AWAMUTU LIBRARY

The new library at Te Awamutu was a major project for the Waipa Council. It is the cornerstone building in a new hub concept for the town so it was very important that the interior fit out of the library not only met the operational needs but also complemented the modern, sleek exterior design of the new building.

After a rigorous selection process, Int.workspaces was honoured to be selected for both Shelving and Furniture fit outs for this project. To quote directly from clients’ words “Int.workspaces was very easy to work with and wen the extra mile at all times to ensure that we ended up with a library that not only looks wonderful but works for us in all the ways we expected.”

WAIPUKURAU LIBRARY REFURBISHMENT

Int.workspaces was engaged to design and fit out the newly refurbished Waipukurau Library space with a thoughtful layout that took into account the expanding services of today’s libraries. This was an important consideration as the library space needs to accommodate the needs of the individual users right through to larger community groups and also a Council Service Centre.

Int.workspaces was successful in providing a design solution within the allocated budget and time frame.

Scope of work included: Concept Design, Interior Design, Shelving and Furniture Fit out, Bespoke Joinery and Furniture Solutions.
